About

I'm a photographer and artist based in Loveland, Colorado, with a deep passion for capturing both the natural beauty of the world around me and the compelling stories of the people I meet. My creative journey is shaped not only by a love of visual storytelling, but also by my personal experiences as a mother and advocate.

In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, my daughter underwent a life-saving kidney transplant—and I had the privilege of being her live donor. Today, she continues to thrive, despite ongoing challenges. She is also autistic, and our family life is filled with the unique ups and downs of navigating school, healthcare, and therapy. Supporting her needs while also learning to care for my own has been a journey marked by growth, resilience, and unconditional love.

I am the contributing photographer for West Loveland Neighbors magazine, where I photograph local families for the cover of each monthly issue and contribute to the visual storytelling that brings the community together. This work allows me to connect with neighbors, highlight their lives, and celebrate the rich diversity of stories found in our corner of Colorado. Each photo session is more than just a portrait—it's an opportunity to honor the spirit and character of the people who make Loveland unique.

In addition to photography, I create photorealistic black-and-white portraits using oils and acrylics. My paintings have been exhibited at Milwaukee City Hall and Waukesha City Hall, and are part of the permanent public art collections at the Waukesha Public Library and the Gila River Indian Community Utility Authority.

As an after-school drawing instructor for Young Rembrandts Northern Colorado, I also have the joy of teaching elementary-aged students the fundamentals of drawing. I love watching young artists develop confidence, skill, and creativity through structured lessons that make art both fun and accessible.

Previously, I taught nature photography to children at the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I encouraged students to see the Menomonee Valley through a lens of curiosity, light, and wonder.

You can find downloadable digital prints of my landscape, nature, and pet photography in my Etsy shop at www.Etsy.com/shop/FellowsPhotos.
